BOSTON 3RD OLDEST CEMETERY
Established in 1660, the Old granary Burring Ground is Boston’s third oldest cemetery.
Many Revolutionary War heroes are buried in this old burring ground including three signers of the Declaration of Independence; Samuel Adams, John Hanckock, and Robert Treat Paine. It is the final resting place of the Franklin family, Paul Revere, the famous midnight rider, Peter Faneuil, (Faneuil Hall), and the five victims of the Boston Massacre.
